Ray Zager passed away on November 6, 2012, in Santa Rosa.
Ray Zager's Diary Library is the second largest diary library in the United States.
Ray Zager was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
A retired lawyer, author and a devoted diarist, he became interested in diaries in 1960, studied and lectured on the subject and has written more than one hundred personal diaries.
His four published books are Private Zager (1999), Window of Self: A Diary is Forever (2003), Short Stories (2008), and Concerned Conversations (2009).
Companion to Theodore Roosevelt’s Childhood Diary will be out in 2013.
